Smart home for 100 thousand challenge
An interesting question, of course, is how much it costs to make a smart home system in a small apartment, for example, if we consider a two-room apartment with two bedrooms, a kitchen combined with a living room, for example, then in principle not so many devices are required, and you can quite meet the 100 thousand even in fact and a much smaller amount, for example 50, which this amount may include.
Well, of course, the most basic thing is probably for a smart home, so that no one doubts that this is a smart home, that it has some interesting functions that, unlike the other, are voice control, voice control is easiest to do from some smart speaker, so if, for example, the rooms are actually three, for example, you can put one column in each room, for example from Yandex, and if you take a column and do not take the cheapest one, say Yandex Light, you can, for example, take Yandex station Mini, which costs 8000 somewhere, if you put such a speaker in every room without any discounts, it will already be 24 thousand, that is, in principle, then these functions will already be available, that is, you can turn on music, listen, you can use functions related to skills, that is, in principle, this is already some kind of pretty good multimedia system and you can of course Further along, the rest of the smart home components can be configured around this ecosystem.
If this station is already, say, at least Yandex Station one, Station Max, then of course it will be possible to connect it to a TV and then there will be an additional function related to watching videos, some movies or channels.
For the remaining amount, you can also purchase quite a lot of different devices, that is, in such an apartment you may need about six switches, for example, I have done this, but if there is also a switch, that is, one in each room, in the corridor, in the toilet, in the bathroom, if they are separate, but also for example if if there is a storage room, or for example there is a dressing room, or a balcony, then of course you can also put a switch there, and in principle I have it set up now.
To control the lights on and on, we need door opening sensors and motion sensors, that is, in principle, I don't have many such sensors, there is an opening sensor on the bathroom door and toilet, and there is an opening sensor on the front door, and there is also a motion sensor, not only in the bathroom, but in principle, you can put it in the toilet and in the corridor, that is, you get about 3 motion sensors, 3 opening sensors, it's somewhere else for an average of 1000 rubles, that is, it's another 6000 total, if each switch is 1000, it's 6000, and another 6000 for these sensors, 12,000, that is, a total of 36,000 for connecting these sensors and most of the switches are wired.
Of course, it will require at best some kind of gateway, let's say in this ecosystem, or a universal one, and it will be 1000 rubles the cheapest, but if this server is, then of course it will be more expensive, it turns out about 37 thousand already.
And for example, to control the light, it is also useful to have some kind of wireless switch, or a scenario switch, so that, for example, you can put such a remote control, such a wireless switch, near the bed and control it, or in the corridor so that you can put it at the other end so that you don't have to go back, or, in principle, place it near the sofa, so that you don't have to get up, and this way you also get about 3 more such switches, well, in total, you get 40 thousand.
But in order to control different devices in general, it can also be lamps, it can be some kind of heaters, then you can additionally take several sockets, 6 or 7, in each room, then of course it already works.
In principle, in order, for example, to make some kind of automatic control based on such smart sockets, for example, heat maintenance, you can also take heat sensors, in general, I have a temperature and humidity sensor in every room, but in principle you can only put it in residential ones, well, let's say if it's about 49 thousand already, it turns out about a little less than a thousand rubles per sensor.
And for example, if there is some kind of air conditioner, then in order to turn it on or off, you can purchase, for example, a Yandex remote control, there is the same analogue from Tuya, and then it will be possible to maintain the temperature comfortably in this room where the air conditioner is installed, and this will also be a total of 50 thousand rubles, basically for 50 thousand rubles can make a good smart home and almost all the functions in it will already work, it will be possible to make scenarios, for example, in an application from this manufacturer, the simplest ones, and automation, and of course, this will be a good start for a smart home.

Automation in a smart home should be useful and create additional comfort, but sometimes everything goes wrong… The reasons for this, and how to configure everything, see on my channel.
